Toby Ironworks is a studio and gallery space in Hays, KS, owned and operated by Tobias Flores, a friend and mentor of mine. I had the opportunity to design his studio logo, window decals, and soon-to-be steel sign that will hang out from his building. The design includes his own logo, the "toe-bee," included in an anvil surrounded by a halo. The anvil signifies his work and passion with in the metal arts of sculpture and blacksmithing, while the halo was an inspired by his piece "Foundry Mary," paying homage to the halos often found in religious works.
